This resource (best for Grades 6-9 and homeschooling) is perfect if you want to test your students’ comprehension skills but they are still online learning. You can easily run this resource over several days!
It contains a total of 70 marks; however, to give you some variety, I have included the full comprehension as well as the same comprehension broken down into TWO quizzes of 35 marks each AND seven quizzes of 10 marks each.
Also included is an extension page to take their learning a step further.
Covered in this resource:
all parts of speech
poetic devices
vocabulary
comprehension skills
You can use the large comprehension as an exam or the smaller ones for quizzes or collaborative learning. I have included feedback for all of the questions as well to help the student’s learning.

Need your kiddos to show you that they understand nouns?
Give them a choice!
**
Here are 10 choices kids will need to put together and present on their own. Some choices can be presented in front of the class and some can be submitted straight to the teacher for those who do not like presenting.
I also allow the children to tweak the activities if they have a good idea that is still challenging and helps show their understanding.
All activities are tailored to how many nouns have been studied - whether it’s just two types or all 6.
This does not include pronouns as they are a separate part of speech.
All activities are suitable for distance learning
